The one to see first

Safety for groomers working alone

The groomer's phone shows a big red safety card with a live countdown to the next check-in. Any tap in the app resets it; that is the check-in. If it runs out, the app asks, and if there's still no answer the owner, the groomer's emergency contact and anyone else you list get a text with the last stop and the last known location. Holding the red button for ten seconds sends the alert right now. Owners set the timers and who gets called, or turn it off.

  • Countdown resets on any activity, so it never nags a groomer who's working
  • Hold-to-alert with a visible countdown so it can't fire by accident
  • Location pings while en route and during the stop keep the tracking link and the check-in alive
  • A safety log the owner can review
What mobile grooming gets

Everything, in the words you'd use.

Mobile grooming is $39 a month on Base for the whole business, not per van. Add the shop's grooming membership and each is $10 off.

The route

Real drive times, not guesses.

01
  • A board per van; each mobile groomer belongs to a van
  • Service areas by zip and by day, so online booking only offers the van where and when it goes
  • Routes with real drive times between stops (Google Routes), a proposed order that saves miles, and a warning when the day can't be made
  • Locked times for the customers who can't move, and the rest reshuffled around them
  • Departure alerts so the groomer leaves on time, and a prep text the night before

The customer

They know when you're coming.

02
  • On-the-way text with a live tracking link showing the van and the ETA
  • Arrived automatically when the van pulls up (or one tap)
  • Site notes per house: parking, hookups, gate code, dog may be loose, van may not fit, flagged stops
  • Two-way texting from your own number: confirmations, reminders (reply C to confirm), ready-for-pickup with the after photo, receipts, campaigns and birthday texts, with STOP and quiet hours handled. 300 texts a month included.
  • Photos customers text to your number land on the dog's record, tagged Current, Desired cut, Another dog they like, or a skin concern, so "I want this!" is on file before the dog arrives.

The van

Logged from the phone in two taps.

03
  • Fuel, odometer, water fill and dump, generator hours, maintenance and supplies with cost
  • A pre-trip checklist: tanks, generator, blades, dryer, first-aid, phone charged
  • A mileage report by van and groomer with the IRS rate and the deduction

Pricing and booking

Mobile prices, shop prices, one menu.

04
  • A mobile price per service, or a surcharge over the shop price
  • Customers pick shop or mobile on the same booking page; the address check happens before they pick a time
  • The groom analyzer and grooming instructions on the phone, same as in the shop

Money and staff

Everything the shop side gets.

05
  • Checkout on the phone: cards on file, reader, cash, tips; a cash setting for whether the groomer keeps the cash tip
  • Payroll on a payment-received basis: commission, hourly or both, overtime rules by state, a time clock with PINs, tips split by each groomer's share of the service dollars, pay stubs with year-to-date, QuickBooks and Gusto or ADP exports.
  • Year-end 1099-NEC forms and an e-file CSV, with W-9s collected digitally and tax IDs stored encrypted.

The rest

Included.

06
  • The Assistant: press "How do I", type or say it, and it walks you through the task on your own screen with a spotlight and a voice. A daily brief before you open and a weekly read on the business.
  • VaxFetch™: clients text a photo of their vaccine records and it logs every shot and expiration date on the right dog, saves the vet's clinic, phone and email, and emails the vet for the update when a shot comes due before the next visit. No staff time. On Growth and Ultimate.
  • A free website at yourshop.rockdogpro.com (or your own domain), built from your services, hours, photos and reviews, with a Book now button that goes straight to your booking page. Four looks, edit the words, publish.
  • Run a shop and vans on one account; the calendar has an In shop board and a Mobile van board
  • Two-factor sign-in, an admin lock at the front desk, a recycle bin with Undo, nightly off-site backups, alerts when a charge or a text fails, a manager code for refunds and undoing a checkout, and a full export of everything, any time.
Questions

Straight answers.

How much does mobile grooming software cost?

Rock Dog Pro's mobile grooming membership is $39 a month for the whole business, however many vans you run. MoeGo's mobile plans are $49 to $159 per van. Add the shop's grooming membership and each is $10 off.

Does it plan the route?

Yes. Each van's day is a route with real drive times between stops. It proposes an order that saves miles and minutes, respects the stops you lock, warns when a day can't be made, and texts every customer their new time if you apply the change.

What is the safety check-in?

A big red card on the groomer's phone with a countdown. Any tap in the app resets it. If it runs out and the groomer doesn't answer the app's nudge, the owner, the groomer's emergency contact and anyone else you list get a text with the last stop and last known location. Holding the red button for ten seconds sends that alert immediately. Owners set the timers and who's called.

Do customers get a tracking link?

Yes. When the groomer taps Start driving, the customer gets an on-the-way text with a link that shows the van moving and the ETA. It expires after the visit.

Can I run a shop and a van on one account?

Yes. The calendar has an In shop board and a Mobile van board, staff are assigned to a shop or a van, and customers choose shop or mobile on the same booking page.

Run a real week on it.

30 days free. No card required. Once you have all your files from your old provider, upload and onboarding takes less than 3 hours.
